The Weekend

From the cobblestones and cathedrals of the old town to the dynamic galleries and world-class gastronomy of its walkable neighborhoods, Montréal is a beacon of savoir-vivre.

From October 9-11, 2026 Tertulia takes up residence in Canada’s culinary and cultural capital, filling carefully curated restaurants, cafes and art spaces with chamber music performed by a cast of leading Canadian chamber musicians.

Anchored by four performances (three evenings and one weekend morning), Tertulia’s weekend festivals offer the opportunity to discover a new city, spend time with family and friends and join our global community of culture and dining lovers, many of whom join for our festivals year after year.

The Artists

Canadian violinist and cellist Blake Pouliot and Rachel Mercer join Montreal’s Henry Kramer (piano) and Romie de Guise-Langlois (clarinet) for a weekend of performances hosted by Tertulia Artistic Director, oboist and half-Canadian James Austin Smith

The Hotel

Hotel packages include three nights at the chic Hôtel Le Germain, steps from downtown Montréal’s shopping, dining and cultural offerings. Québécois-owned, featuring a modern reinterpretation of sixties-inspired décor, Hôtel Le Germain is the perfect base for a weekend spent exploring the city.

Tickets

Hotel Packages, available in single or double, include three nights’ accommodation at Hôtel Le Germain (Classic King with view) as well as the weekend’s four music and food events (two full dinner performances, two light-hospitality events, all beverages included).

Check-in: Friday, October 9, 2026* from 3PM | Check-out: Monday, October 12, 2026 at 12PM

Extensions to hotel stays at Tertulia’s package rates are available based on availability.
Please note: breakfast is not included in this year’s hotel package.
*Friday’s opening night event will be timed to accommodate flights departing from the west coast on Friday morning.

Weekend Passes include the weekend’s four music and food events (two full Tertulia dinner performances, two light hospitality performances, all beverages included).

All prices are in US Dollars. Guests may avoid credit card processing fees by paying via check or Zelle. Please contact info@tertulianyc.org to arrange payment.

All tickets to Tertulia x Montréal include a donation (tax deductible in the United States, recognizable in tax year 2026) to help offset the artistic and organizational costs of the weekend’s festivities.

Full event details and musical programs will be announced in late spring/early summer.

Tertulia Trips

Tertulia’s weekend festivals comprise of four performances in carefully curated eating, drinking and cultural spaces. Beyond some helpful tips and recommendations of things to see, do, eat and drink, we leave the remainder of the weekend to our guests to enjoy the destination in their own way and at their own pace.

Following our highly popular escapes to Reykjavik (2023), Berlin (2024) and Istanbul (2025), Tertulia x Montréal promises an autumn weekend of music, food and culture to remember.
