Acclaimed as “riveting” (New York Times), celebrated for the “emotional intensity” (Los Angeles Times) of her performances and no stranger to Tertulia audiences, Sæunn Thorsteinsdóttir fills New York’s jewel-box Bar Calico with solo works of Johann Sebastian Bach and New York-based composer-violinist Michelle Ross, and creates live improvisations of her own in this intimate portrait of a deeply thoughtful - and profoundly virtuosic - artist.
